Jeff Maxwell passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 69, in Fairfax, VA. Jeff was born in Brooklyn, NY to Benjamin & Evelyn Goldman. He met his wife Carol in California and they married in 1984 in New York.
He went to high school in Brooklyn then City College of New York for a 5-year BA in Architecture continuing to graduate with a Master of Architecture in 1976. He worked many years at commercial firms including Descon, CRS & Port Authority of NY/NJ on the JFK airport redevelopment. He was then enthused to pursue his expertise at semiconductor fabs with Kodak, Intel, and Dominion Semiconductor before opening his own firm as CEO of Maxcon, Inc. a comprehensive Design & Construction Management firm. He was also a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Jeff had a very full life and vibrant personality; he left a lasting impression on many he met and worked with along the way. He enjoyed the theater, concerts, and great movies with his wife. He was also an exceptional cook; his specialty of Sunday sauce.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin & Evelyn Goldman.
Jeff is survived by his wife Carol Maxwell, brother Alex (Debbie) Roberts, and nephews Tyler, Sean & Patrick, and niece Colleen.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association on his behalf.
