Bessie Dofflemyer Saunders "MAPA" Bessie Dofflemyer Saunders, age 84 of Annandale, VA went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2013. She was born to the late Clark and Ethel Dofflemyer February 5, 1928. Ms. Saunders was preceded in death by husband and father of her four children Thomas (Spike) Moore, a daughter, Mary Robinson, Granddaughter, Crystal Moore, and Two sisters, Becky Davis and Irene Smarr. Leaving behind to watch over and protect is her “Legacy”, her wonderful family whom she adored with all of her heart. Two sons; Clark Moore, and wife Peggy & Joseph Moore & wife Gina. One Daughter, Irene (Rene) Denny & husband Danny. Ms. Saunders is also survived by eight grandchildren, Donna Robinson, Kenneth Robinson Jr., Tonya Shifflett & husband Brandon, Lynzie Denny, Jennifer Sledz & husband Mike, Dalton Denny, Joseph Moore, Jacob Moore, & Summer Denny, Four great –grandchildren, Bradley, Austin, Cheyenne, & Joey. She is also survived by a son in law, Kenneth Robinson. Ms. Bessie Saunders was described as a very kind woman who was full of Grace. She will be leaving behind many memories and so much love. The Funeral will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. at the National Funeral Home,7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA. Visiting Hours Friday 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8 pm, at the funeral home.
