Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Paul and Anne (MacDonald) Sullivan.
Chris was an employee of Johnson and Johnson for many years. He was an extremely enthusiastic Boston sports fan, he also enjoyed an eclectic variety of music. One of his favorite past times was taking a drive down to his favorite beach. He proudly served his country with the United States Coast Guard and later with the Merchant Marines.
Besides his loving companion Diodete Gouveia, Chris aka Duke is survived by five daughters (The Duchesses); Sara Sullivan and husband Ryan, Erin Sullivan, Chelsea Sullivan and husband Jeffrey, Kendra Sullivan and Stella Sullivan. He is also survived by his brother Peter Sullivan and wife Kimberly of Fall River. Chris, lovingly known to his six grandchildren as “Pa”, Lucas, Emma, Nolan, Cameron, Mia and Jameson. He was the former spouse of the late Carolyn Sullivan and brother of the late Jeff, Mark, and Richard Sullivan and sister Leslie Daley.
His Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
