San Juanita Soliz

San Juanita Soliz entered into eternal rest at age 53, on June 5, 2021, in Kingsville Texas at Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg. San Juanita was born on May 13, 1968 in Brooks County, to parents Roberto R. Gonzalez and Marta Arredondo of Falfurrias, TX.

San Juanita is survived by her three children, Bianca Jeanette Rivera (Humberto) of Edinburg, Luis Rudy Soliz III, and Roberto Javier Soliz both of Falfurrias. She had two grandchildren, Matthew Alfaro and Makayla Alfaro. Her Parents, Roberto R. Gonzalez and Marta Arredondo of Falfurrias Texas. Her siblings, Elisa Gonzalez (Ramiro) of Alice, Texas, Celia Salinas (Homero) of Falfurrias, Texas, Pedro Andres Gonzalez, of Falfurrias, Texas. Her Parent-in-laws, Luis “Rudy” Soliz Sr. and Idolina Soliz of Falfurrias, Texas. Her Brother-in-laws, Damain Soliz (Anna) of Falfurrias, Texas, Saul Soliz (Pam) of Longview, Texas and Jaime Soliz (Nancy) also of Falfurrias, Texas and a Sister-in-law, Esmeralda Garza of Falfurrias. San Juanita is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

San Juanita was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her husband, Judge Luis “Rudy” Soliz Jr., Paternal Grandparents, Andres and Celia Gonzalez and her Maternal Grandparents, Donato and Epitacia Arredondo.

San Juanita attended Riviera Kaufer High School. San Juanita was a great Mother and Wife to her Late Husband. She married Luis “Rudy” Soliz on May 16, 1987 and the couple had three children together. San Juanita was a Happy Homemaker or as she would say a Domestic Goddess. She enjoyed working with her family in their catering business of Mesquite BBQ Catering. She enjoyed baking, crafting and gardening when she could. Her family and friends will always remember her as a passionate person who loved life.

Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate San Juanita’s life.
