Rita A. Perez, 87, was taken into God’s loving arms on Monday, May 6, 2013 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by the Lord; her parents, Santos and Manuela Alarcon; her husband, Trinidad G. Perez; her son, Jose Trinidad Perez and all her siblings.
Rita was born on December 22, 1925 to Santos Alarcon and Manuela Villarreal Alarcon in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Rita will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Rita leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, Carlos (Esmeralda) Perez of Falfurrias, Texas; Noe (Kim) Perez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Aaron (Berlinda) Perez of Falfurrias, Texas; daughter, Enedina (Oscar) Ramirez of Falfurrias, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.
Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
