Jose is preceded in death by his parents; son, Roberto Salinas and siblings, Ernesto (Angelica) Salinas, Jose Santiago (Ingeberg) Salinas, Juan (Maria Del Refugio) Salinas, Fernando Salinas and Graciela Margarita Lopez.
He leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by his wife, Enedelia Salinas of Oilton; children, Jose R. (Teresa) Salinas, Jr. and Ana Delia Salinas both of Laredo, Texas; siblings, Catalina (+Adan) Chavera and Anastacio (Maria Elena) Salinas both of Laredo; daughter-in-law, Consuelo Salinas of Laredo; sister-in-law, Angelina Salinas of Bruni, Texas; brother-in-law, Juan Lopez, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roberto Rene Salinas, Jr., Pedro Rene Salinas, Efren Ugarte, Ernesto Javier Salinas, Eduardo Salinas, Juan Salinas, Santiago Salinas and Homer Maldonado.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tonny Lopez, Jaime Lopez, Gerardo Chavera, Jose Ramiro Salinas, Jr., Adrian Chavera, Barry Thompson, Lauro Mendoza and Denise Cisneros.
Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard - Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.
