Francisca E. Gomez, 99 passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Laredo. She was born on March 9, 1913 in Loerna, Tx. to Eliseo and Jovita Saldana Escobedo. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Sociedad De Guadalupanas, Tercera Orden and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Francisca is preceded in death by her parents; husband Braulio Gomez Jr., sisters Manuelita E. Falcon, Maria De Jesus Gomez, Marina B. Perez and Santos Vela Ramirez; brothers Sigifredo Escobedo and Francisco Escobedo. She is survived by her daughter Raquel G. (Eloy) Barrera of Hebbronville, sister Hulda E. Huerta of Hebbronville, grandchildren Mariela B. (Joe) Salinas and Marco Barrera both of Hebbronville, 3 great grandchildren Daniel Esa, Deandra Nickole and Gary Allen; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marco Barrera, Daniel Barrera, Rafael Gomez Jr., Angel Cruz, Francisco Escobedo Jr., and Armando Huerta.
