Cecilia M. Ramirez

Cecilia M. Ramirez entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 16, 2022 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 85. She was born in Hebbronville, Texas to Juventino Morante and Isidora Saenz Morante on May 26, 1936.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cecilia leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by her husband, Hector E. Ramirez of Hebbronville; sons, Hector Javier Ramirez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Marcus (Selma) Ramirez of Harlingen, Texas; daughters, Yvette Arredondo and Lisa (Oscar) Maldonado both of Hebbronville; siblings, Berta (Raymundo) Chapa of Laredo, Isidora (+Guillermo) Reyes of Bruni, Texas, Juventino (Carmen) Morante and Graciela Perez both of Hebbronville; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Kelly Ramirez, Damien Ramirez, Oscar Carlo Maldonado, Jorge Estevan Arredondo, Evan Eden Ramirez and Marcus Ramirez.

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude with Burial at the Arroyo Seco Ranch Cemetery in Jim Hogg County.
