Brenda Jo Enis, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas. She was born on September 5, 1944 to Edgar Robertson and Freda Cook Robertson in Poteet, Texas. Brenda worked as a Secretary for many years at Barnes Insurance Company. Together with her husband, Michael, they raised two children and they knew her as the “best mom EVER”.
Brenda loved her family and her whole life revolved around them. She also enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the UT Longhorns.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her granddaughter, Loriana Makenzie Enis.
Brenda is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Michael Enis of Falfurrias; son, Shawn (Damaris) Enis of Bastrop, Texas; daughter, Shelby Enis of Falfurrias; sister, Madelyn Robertson of Bastrop; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Hinojosa, Emily Elizondo, Frank Elizondo, Jr., Danielle Mendoza, Jordan Rodriguez, Landon Enis and Riley Enis,; two great-grandchildren, Riddick and Tatum Ramsey and many cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
