Alicia Gonzalez Lopez

Alicia Gonzalez Lopez entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 79. She was born on June 4, 1944 to Medoro Gonzalez and Dora Barrera Gonzalez in Falfurrias, Texas. Alicia was a dedicated housewife. She loved attending gatherings and dancing.

She is preceded in death by her father, Medoro Gonzalez; mother, Dora B. Salinas; step-father, Primitivo Salinas; husband, Luis Lopez, Jr.; brothers, Porfirio Villarreal, Jr. and Fernando Gonzalez and sister, Alfa Gonzalez.

Alicia leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Jose Alfredo (Melissa) Lopez of Falfurrias and Daniel (Alma) Lopez of Pharr, Texas; daughter, Gloria Lopez of Falfurrias; brothers, Medoro Gonzalez, Jr., Roberto (Rosa) Gonzalez, Macedonio (Rosa) Gonzalez, Benito (Elena) Gonzalez, Eduardo (Hilda) Gonzalez, Aureliano Salinas and Emiliano Gonzalez; sister, Beatrice (Jose Angel) Escalante; nine grandchildren, Michael Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Pamela Ann Lopez, Jose Luis Garcia, Jr., Joe Anthony Garcia, Ruby Lee Garcia, Joseph Lopez, Matthew Lopez and David Chapa; and 11 great-grandchildren and two on the way.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
