BILL WAS A DEAR FRIEND FROM MY WORKING DAYS AT CONSOLIDATED FREIGHTWAYS.
WE ALWAYS ENJOYED GETTING TOGETHER FOR A COLD ONE. 
HE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED.  HE HIRED ME AT CF, BACK IN 1975. 
I RETIRED TO FLORIDA IN 1996, WITH MY WIFE ANNE OF 36 YEARS. 
SHE PASSED IN 2016 OF PANCREATIC CANCER.
I SAW BILL ABOUT A YEAR AGO FOR MY ANNUAL OHIO VISIT, WITH JOHN PATTERSON
AND BUZZ NELSON.
ON MY LAST VISIT TO OHIO, BILL PASSED, AS HE WAS GOING TO VISIT FRANCE.
HE WAS REALLY A GOOD FRIEND AND WILL REALLY BE MISSED. 74 IS JUST TOO YOUNG.

Dave and I were shocked and saddened to hear the news about Bill,
Although no words can take away your pain, please take comfort in knowing that he was living the dream with you, your kids and grandkids!  I hope those memories will  help you through this difficult time.   

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Bill always made me feel welcome and had a kind word for everyone.He was just an all around “cool” guy, and I too will miss him.

Dear Mickey, Billy & Jenny, Dawn & Dan, Nicole & Eric and Grandchildren:

Our hearts are broken as are yours.  Bill was a wonderful person.  Not only a great husband and father but the best friend for which we could ask.  His keen sense of humor and kindness were second to none.  And we had such good times traveling together to places like NYC, Washington DC, the Greenbrier, French Lick Resort and Mexico; sometimes the four of us and other times the three of us.   Remembering all the dances and parties we went to and the music trivia at which we excelled brings smiles to our faces.  These fond memories will sustain us throughout our lives when we think of Bill.  

We are in denial.  We keep thinking he can't really be gone.  But then the sad truth rears its ugly head and returns us to reality.  Sometimes tears start flowing but go unnoticed.  This just seems to be normal since that fated Friday Bill left us.  

Remember that we are always here for you as you have always been for us.

I remember the good times we shared at Rockport UMC, back in the 80's. Good memories of team teaching with Mickey in Sun Sch.; & in the MYF youth group with the 3 "kids" plus my 3 -- Jeff, Steve & Cathy.  Lots of fun. I'll always remember the surprise of my family of 5 unexpectedly running into your family of 5 on the beach at Clearwater,  Florida. Mickey and family I  am so saddened to hear about Bill.  He will always be remembered by many of his classmates as a sweet kind person.  I wish there were words to ease this pain.  Regina

dearest Mickie and family:  was told today of Billy Jr's passing and can't believe it is true.  Life ends so unexpectedly for all of us just in different ways that we never seem to understand. I heard he passed while working on his boat which was something I remember him loving to do.  Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
