Vincent Eckdahl

Vince was born on July 5, 1944 in Lakewood, NY to Sarah (Sally) Eckdahl. He received his degree to become a Certified Public Accountant from Kent State University while also serving the USMC for 6 years. Vince went on to work between Manhattan, NY and Cleveland, OH for Standard Oil until his retirement in the early 1990's. It was after retirement that Vince met and married the love of his life, Karen. Vince and Karen spent 25 years together traveling, cheering on their favorite Cleveland sports teams, or just enjoying friends and family. One thing was certain, they were always together.

Vince was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife Karen, his three step-daughters, Meghan (Andy), Erin (Randy), and Shannon(Donny). His granddaughters Ava, Lila, Peyton, Macey, and Madison. He is also Survived by his sister Patricia (Dick) and brother Jack (Jeanne). Vince also leaves behind nephews Matthew, Timothy, and Jeffrey with their wives and ten great nieces and nephews whom he spoke of often. Vince also leaves behind a neighborhood of amazing friends that became family over the last few years.

To honor Vince's wishes there will be no funeral service. Please consider giving to a local charity in Vince's memory.
