I am so sorry to hear of Tim "Magoo's" passing. My condolences to his family & friends. He was my best friend & roommate for 3 years in Germany. Go Browns! Guess time to break out the Michael Stanley Band albums. I'll tip a Jack & Coke for you.

So sorry to hear that. I would tell stories of Germany in the 80s but not appropriate for this situation . Rest in peace.

I served in the Air Force with Tim.  We played rugby together.  He was always helpful to the guys that were new "in country".  I'm sorry for his passing, and I pray for your comfort.

like other NGA folks here I had the good fortune of working with Tim on a number of different issues. At his core he was a great analyst and a mentor for a lot of folks learning the tradecraft.  As a Browns fan he clearly understood the need for infinite patience with management and colleagues just like  for his team who he loved talking about. he always managed to have a smile and a Browns coffee cup in his hand.  He will be missed sincerely, but his legacy is never forgotten as it lives on in those he trained and worked with.

I met Tim while we were stationed together in the mid-late 80s. He was such a nice and fun person to be around. Everyone that knew Tim liked him. I had no idea he and I would be supporting the same organization many years later.

I am so stunned to hear of Tim’s passing. I worked with Tim for 5 years and always knew him to be a man of passion and caring. Condolences to the McGinnis Family on the loss of a good man.

Condolences to Tim’s family.  I’ll miss our conversations from one Cleveland Browns fan to another…and our shared frustrations.  Tim was a great guy and our prayers are with everyone affected by his loss.

My condolences to the whole family. I had the honor of working with Tim. We first met in Korea on a tour of the DMZ in 1992. He was one of the most decorated Airmen I'd ever met. I always admired his passion to do what he did well. The McGinnis' and the nation lost a good man.

Of course, Tim was a great NGA employee, but he was a very good friend.  He and I spoke a lot about his beloved Cleveland Browns.  He would walk by holding his Browns coffee cup and we would strike up a short conversation.  Memories with him will remain with me for a long time and I wish to convey to his family my sincere condolences and pray for their comfort.

Tim was a great analyst and leader.  I appreciated his guidance and mentorship during a period in my career when I thought I knew it all. 
 Tim's dedication to the mission and expertise will be sorely missed from our small community of GEOINT professionals.

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Tim at NGA. He was very good at what he did. He was always the go-to-guy if you had any questions. He will be greatly missed. I'll never forget his quote in his signature block "I'm not a complete idiot; some parts are missing."

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Tim as a young Airman at the 480th IG. I was very sorry to hear of his passing.

Prayers and good tidings to the McGinnis family, worked with Tim in Osan, Korea and then again from a distance with NGA, he was a great guy and very fun loving, even though I was a Marine they took me into the fold at Osan and made me feel a part of a team.  I am very sorry for your loss.  Rest in Peace Tim, and we will meet again in Valhalla Brother.
