Richard Gene Caswell

Mr. Caswell was a devout Christian, who lived a life of faith, integrity, and service to the Lord and his family. He was a member of the O’Fallon Assembly of God Church and has left a legacy of faith that will continue to touch countless lives through the ministries and mission work of all of his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Clyde and Virginia Elizabeth, nee Wade, Caswell, and a brother, Robert Caswell.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Joan Caswell, nee Easton, his children; Rick (Elaine) Caswell of Senegal, West Africa, Randy (Lori) Caswell of Kankakee, Illinois, Rodney (Kari) Caswell of Vandalia, Illinois, Julie Fuehne of Belleville, Illinois, and Jenny (Tim) Land of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, grandchildren; Katie, Keenan, Lydia, Matthew, Bethany, Jonathan, Brayden, Caleb, Madeline, Michael, Olivia, Whitney, and Katelyn, two brothers; Forrest (Mary Lou) Caswell and Bill (Mavis) Caswell, a sister, Carol (Raymond) Zawodniak, sister-in-law, Ruth Caswell, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Irvin Anna, nieces, nephews, other relatives, brothers and sisters in Christ, and many friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at O’Fallon Assembly of God Church, O’Fallon, Illinois and from 9 – 10 am, Friday, June 6, 2014 also at the Church.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 6, 2014 at O’Fallon Assembly of God Church, O’Fallon, Illinois. Interment will be Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
