Marie is survived by her children John Sutton, Jeremiah (Julie) Sutton, Debra (Haven) Smith, Helen (Michael) Cole, Mary (Patrick) Smith, Michelle Sutton and Linda (Jerome) Cole; grandchildren Anna, Keely, Brittany, Amanda, Isaac, Angela, Maria, Timothy, Matt, Michael, Richard, Virginia, Gina, Jerome, Mary, Patrick, Haven, Dennis, Debbie, Teddy, Chris, Jason, Brian, Danny, and Haven. Marie is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Marie was loved much by her family and she gave back in return. She loved to playing cards, spending time outdoors planting flowers and gathering her family together. Marie was a woman of faith and read her bible daily.
Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Wednesday, May 29, at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois Ave., Fairview Heights. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 30. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
