Judith Ann Hayes

Judy was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, jig-saw puzzles, and camping. She never turned down junk food and Krispy Kreme donuts were at the top of her list. Twenty plus years ago, she moved to Los Lunas, New Mexico and she became enthralled with the southwest culture. She loved to laugh and spend time with family. She was a proud to have been a homemaker, raising her children and being at home with them provided the entire family with memories that can never be erased. She was a loving and caring person, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Lee Hayes, Sr.; a son, Thomas “Tom” Hayes; a great grandson, Aaron Burkett; her parents, William N. and Bernice, nee Bruner, Campbell, Sr.; her brothers, William N. Campbell, Jr. and Frank “Bud” Campbell.

Surviving to cherish her memory, are her children, Franklin Lee Hayes, Jr., of Nashville, Illinois, Mike Hayes, of Collinsville, Illinois, Karen (Jim) Dannehold, of Belleville, Illinois, Kenny (Debbie) Hayes, of Collinsville, Illinois, and Rita Hayes, of Collinsville, Illinois; her grandchildren, John (Jamie) Burkett, Kari (Scott) Finn, Sharon (Justin Delashmit) Burkett, Lee-Lee Burkett, Krystal (Jason) Landfried, Brandy Hayes, Donna (Justin Baker) McNatt, Kelly McNatt, and Mikaya Ford; her step-grandchildren, Toni Dannehold, Cody Buss, and Michael Buss; her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Uriah, Madison, Mason, Conner, Jeffrey, Zoey, Maci, Jason, Emily, Logan, Hannah, Aiden, and one on the way; a sister, Janet “Kay” Warren; her foster children, Judy, Cindy, Shawn, Robin, Anna, Sue, and Bobbie; and her caregivers, and friends, Maria Alana Estrada and Ms. May.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
