Geraldine Faith Kingsbury

During her life, she worked at WT Grant in Collinsville Illinois from the time it opened to the time the store closed. She was also active in Anderson Hospital Auxiliary and First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Her favorite hobby was planning WWII reunions with her husband, Warren. She also enjoyed needlework and especially talking on the phone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Virginia Mavis, and her husband Jacob Warren Kingsbury.

She is survived by her three children, Kurt Kingsbury, Kevin (Kim) Kingsbury, and Kris (Paul) Laubenthal; five grandchildren, Kyle Kingsbury, Kelly (Clyde) Berning, Katy(Joseph) Lang, Kirsten(Nic) Smith, and Libbie (Scott) Bluemner; five great grandchildren, Karly, Owen and Quinn Berning, and Harrison and Brennan Lang.

Visitation will take place at First United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 10-12 AM with funeral service immediately following. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
