Delores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and special friend to many. On December 28, 1946 Delores married the love of her life Raymond D. LaFore, to which this union bought four beautiful children. She was a secretary for her husband’s trucking company LaFore Inc. Delores loved cooking, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was once the president of the Garden Club in Mount Olive, Illinois. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were two children; Thomas LaFore, and Bonnie Kalert, her parents; Theodore and Susanna Werner, nee Smith, her brothers; Earl Werner, Roy Werner, Raynold Werner, and Albert Werner, her sisters; Ethel Fuchs, Edith Depping, and Catherine Foy.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of almost 70 years, Ray LaFore, of Belleville, Illinois; her children, Ray (Cathy) LaFore, and Judith (David) Bertelsman; her grandchildren, Bryan (Michelle) Kalert, Lori (Steve) Wyatt, Clayton (Megan) Bertelsman, Scott (Anna) LaFore, Melanie Bertelsman, and Chris (Lindsey) LaFore; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Allison, Jack, Sawyer, Waylon, Judd, and Sarah, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a thank you and acknowledge Heartland Hospice for their care and dedication to Delores during her time of need.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00am. There will be an additional visitation Monday morning from 9:00am-11:00am before the funeral services begin at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will take place after at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
