Daryl James Jones

Daryl was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, growing up. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He loved playing cards, especially, Rummy. He was an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He was a loving son and brother, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving to cherish his memory, are his parents, James E. and N. Marie, nee Baldwin, Jones, of Effingham, Illinois; his siblings, Donna (Tom) Vollmer, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, David Jones, of Carlyle, Illinois, Diana Jones, of Troy, Illinois, Debra Jones, of Cahokia, Illinois, Dorcy Menendez, of Edwardsville, Illinois, and Danny (Belinda) Jones, of Dublin, OH; and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and many other friends and relatives.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the caregivers, who loved and tended to Daryl.

Funeral: A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015 at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Entombment will follow in Lake View’s Garden Mausoleum, Fairview Heights, Illinois
