Betty Rankin

She was born July 18, 1933 in Swansea, IL to Edward and Callie Elizabeth (Parker) Rankin.

Betty is survived by her brother, Richard Rankin of Troy, IL; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a dear friend, Gerald Heise.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Douglas (Moneta) Rankin, Edward Rankin, James (Patsy) Rankin Sr., and Thomas Rankin; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Rankin.

Betty worked and retired after many years of dedicated work with the IDPH in East St. Louis. She was a Christian woman who loved to read and cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Additional condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.

A visitation for Betty will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL, 62208.

A service will follow the visitation, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
