Olga Lastenia Munoz

Se casó con Víctor Manuel Muñoz el 9 de abril de 1938 y procrearon 13 hijos, de los cuales 8 aún viven.

Fue una persona muy devota en instruir, disciplinar y cuidar a sus niños.

Estuvo bien involucrada sirviendo en la iglesia, enseñando a los jóvenes en la escuela dominical y recogiendo fondos y donaciones para la primera radio evangélica de Nicaragua “Ondas de Luz”.

Siempre dio el mensaje de salvación a su familia y aquellas personas que se cruzaban en su camino.

Daba consejería a las personas que se lo pedían y oraba por las peticiones específicas.

En 1980 por la guerra en Nicaragua, salió al exilio hacia Guatemala y después en 1983 hacia Estados Unidos.

En 1995 empezó a viajar cada año a Nicaragua, para llevar donaciones que conseguía en los Estados Unidos, para la gente pobre en Nicaragua.

Apreciaba las cosas lindas cuando las sentía y por toda una vida fue una soñadora y romántica, dedicando mucho de su tiempo libre a la lectura de libros y estudio diario de su Biblia.

Fue una madre, hermana, tía, abuela de 27 nietos, bisabuela, y tatarabuela ejemplar con toda su familia que la aman mucho. Fue una fiel hermana en Cristo con su familia espiritual.

En sus últimos años, su mayor deseo era regresar a su amada Nicaragua.

Olga Muñoz was born on March 8th, 1918 in Managua, Nicaragua. She was the fourth child and first daughter in a family of 17 children.

She married Victor Manuel Muñoz on April 9th, 1938 and together had 13 children, 8 of which are still living.

She was very devoted to teaching, disciplining, and caring for her children.

She was very involved with serving at her church, teaching young people in Sunday school and raising funds for the first Protestant radio station in Nicaragua, “Waves of Light”.

She always shared the message of salvation to her family and anyone who crossed her path.

She provided counseling to people who requested it and volunteered prayers of petition when someone was in need.

In 1980, due to the war in Nicaragua, she went into exile, first to Guatemala, then in 1983 to the United States.

In 1995 she began to travel yearly to Nicaragua, taking donations she acquired in the United States to people in need.

She appreciated beauty when she found it and remained a lifelong dreamer and romantic, devoting most of her free time to reading books and studying her Bible daily.

She was an exemplary mother, sister, aunt, grandmother of 27, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to all her family that love her very much. She was a faithful sister in Christ to her spiritual family.

In her final years, her greatest wish was to return to her beloved Nicaragua.
