Raymond was very passionate about the 7 years he served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves. He was especially proud of his time serving as a Ditty Bopper in the Air Force Security Service. He retired from both Greyhound Bus Lines and Waste Management. Raymond's favorite pastimes were spending time with his family and playing poker with his closest friends, where he would check, raise, and then burn. Raymond was also known to have a big heart. He never met a stranger and loved making people laugh. If he could make someone's day brighter, he considered it a good day. His greatest loves were God, Family, and his Country.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 40 years, Charlotte; and brother, Robert (Bobby) Bailey.
He is survived by his daughters, Dawne Bailey (Bryan), Shelly Blevins (Harvey), Lori McDonough (Doc), Angela Newton (Bryon); son, Joey Bailey (Maeghan); grandchildren, Neil, Kristin, Megan, David, Jessica, Little Harvey, Shauntele, Frankie, Alex, Lauren, Asia, Julia, Zack, Maci, Dawson, Waylon; great-grandchildren, Chloey, Bailey, Karma, Ayva, Ezra, Sadie, Kristamae, Kristiana, Oliver, Raven, Kemper, Jovie, Brandynn; the Barker family; and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
