Darnell enjoyed gardening, crafting and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Nova Castle (Salyers) as well as her beloved five sisters, three brothers and In-laws.
She is fiercely loved and survived by her partner of over 30 years Steven Collins. Daughters: Stephanie Foley and Christa Gast. Grandchildren: Robert Calhoun (Jess Riedel), Kyle Calhoun (Cathy Calhoun), Dakota Calhoun (Carlee Calhoun), Stephan Bush, Shy-Anna Meek (Lamont Fox), Iuma Hebert, Xavier Gast and Spencer Gast. Great Grandchildren: Alison Calhoun, Kayden Calhoun, Amelia Calhoun and Kinsley Calhoun. She is also survived by three brothers: James (Kay) Castle, Jerry (Mary) Castle, and Roger (Sharon) Castle, as well as many many nieces, nephews and cousins.
