Bill passed away 6/28/2021 after a 21-year battle with cancer. Born 7/23/42 in Butler, PA, Bill joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Mather AFB. He was a member of the Air Police Canine Unit during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis. After discharge, he worked as a diesel truck partsman for Mack Trucks in Sacramento and Teichert Construction.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sonja, sons Michael (Michelle) and Matthew (Missy), grandchildren Steven (Emily), Karlee, and Austin, great grandchildren Joshua and Amelia, brother Jim (Nancy) and sister Barbara (Pat).
A Court of Honor memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. July 15, 2021 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park. A reception to follow. Dress is casual.
