Steven Allen Sturgeon

Steven was born on December 20, 1947 in San Francisco, CA to James and Eunice (Jorgensen) Sturgeon.

Raised on a ranch in Hamilton City before moving to Sacramento. Completed his studies at Sac City.

Did concert light shows in the Bay area for Bill Graham during the 70s with his small company The Light Brigade. Married Kathleen Sue Bullocks on March 4, 1979

He worked as a carpenter for the next 25+ years until his retirement in 2019.

Steven enjoyed black and white photography, eating hot dogs and playing softball with his church teams, barbecuing and golf in the mountains with his friends, bowling, old cars and trucks and music. He loved vanilla milkshakes, chocolate, eggplant soup, burgers & fries, taquitos from Jimboy’s and breakfast crunch wraps from Taco Bell. His favorite teams were the 49ers and SF Giants. His favorite music is anything from Credence Clearwater Revival – John Fogerty. He was very kind and thankful to everyone that took care of him.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother Eunice, wife Kathleen and brother Paul. He is survived by his nieces Sonya, Supatra, Kiori, Nicole and Michaela, nephews David, Denver, Jay, Ray, Michael, Chris and Joseph.
