October 18, 1932- June 14, 2024
Norma was born in Stuart, Oklahoma on October 18, 1932, and passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024 at her home in Gold River, California at the age of 91.
Norma was so much more than a great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, wife, daughter, and friend. It was common knowledge that she was also “The Boss”. She was meticulously organized, detail oriented, and her home was always in order. She was a pilot, a poet, a successful business owner, and an amazing cook. She mastered the art of baking the perfect flakey pie crust, and her biscuits and gravy were simply the best. She was steadfast in her beliefs and convictions. She volunteered countless hours for her church community. She is deeply loved and will be truly missed.
Norma is survived by her husband Bryant, sisters Greta and Rose, brother John “Tucky”, daughter Nancy, grandchildren Scott, Alicia, Lindsey, James, Joy, and Brandon, great-grandchildren Trenton, Daiz, Charlie, and Brianna. She was preceded in death by her sons David and Jim, sister Morine, brothers Ray and Bill, and previous husbands Charles Sissom and Charles “Chuck” Christian.
