Juan Martinez Gonzalez Sr.,79, of Citrus Heights, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023 at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael.
He was born on December 27, 1943 in Mexico to Julian and Virginia Gonzalez. Juan Gonzalez led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and a profound sense of purpose.
Family was at the center of Juan’s world. He is survived by his loving wife Mamie, his three sons Joaquin, Juan Jr, and Jamie. Along with his 8 grandchildren and his brother Theo. He is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Virgina and two of his siblings Trinity and Santos.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors and Mercy San Juan who provided support and care during Juan's final days.
A funeral service will be held on December 13, 2023 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Juan's life and share memories.
Juan will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and love.
