Born August 7, 1927 in Redlands California. Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2017. She is survived by her son's Jim (Suzie), Jerry, Jay (Louise), Jack (Billie), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved working in her yard, greeting young children with hand made signs on their way to school, her church, Our Lady of Lourdes and water aerobics at Arden Hills. A tireless worker, she was the first to volunteer for rummage sales, pancake breakfasts, but most of all caring for those in need. She loved to have crazy family contests, watermelon growing contest, kite flying contest, water balloon fights, scavenger hunts, pumpkin carving contest, all to make sure her loving family stayed connected. She will be missed by family, friends and all the lives she touched. She is proceeded in death by her husband John and her son Jeff. Services will be Friday, August 18, 10:00 AM at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks.
