Donna,
My deepest condolences for your loss. My heart goes out to you and the family. In the short time I got to know Jim I came to respect him a great deal. You're in my prayers, god bless.

Jim taught us all how to work hard and have fun (ultimate prankster) at the same time. Every time I think about Jim, I can't help but to remember when he got me to look into a small hole along side his swimming pool, and getting a face full of water soon afterwards.  He got a laugh and I got wet.  Hearing his laugh and enjoying all of the great times with him was worth every drop of water that hit me that day. God speed dear friend, you left wonderful memories with all of us.

Our thoughts go back 50 yrs. when Jim was a volunteer with the Citrus Heights Fire District.  Donna, may you find peace and comfort in knowing so many people will miss Jim.

Here in Missouri our hearts are heavy and very sad at the loss of a dear brother and uncle. However we know that Uncle Jimmie is in a better place where the suffering of this world no longer exists. We all treasure our memories of the great times we spent with Uncle Jimmie and Aunt Donna. Please know that you are all in our hearts and prayers. Love you all!

I love you so much and I am thankful for everyday I had with you. You and Grandma brought our famliy together and because of you I have a family that I love and adore more than anything. POPs!! Thank you for teaching me how to bbq, it is something we always had in common and could share and everytime I bbq I think of you. The biggest compliment you ever gave me, was telling me I had become a better Q-er than  you. I miss you so much already but I know you are in heaven riding horses and running around (no more jazzy for you)

My thoughts & prayers go out to all of Jim's family & friends. 

I especially remember Jim's & Donna's trip to Maui when he was seriously injured in the body-surfing accident. Despite all that they were dealing with at the time, they still made the effort to get me the "Lahaina Holloween" T-shirt that I had asked for before they left. I enjoyed wearing it for many years.
I also recall Jim's potato gun antics and the many attempts to shoot one all the way across the Sacramento River from the Sierra Health project site.
Although he never made it then, Jim has now "crossed over to the other side".
May God grant Jim & his family His peace as the journey continues.

I will never forget the first time I met you. I came to your home to take your oldest daughter, Corey, on our first date. You were sitting on the couch cleaning your shotgun and without looking at me you asked me (as you pumped the shotgun and pointed it away from me looking down the barrel) "what time you gunna have her home and is there enough gas in your van?" Yep, total intimidation. Over the years I learned we shared the same love for practical jokes. I have always respected you and you always treated me with respect being both my father-in-law and for years my boss. You were a great father-in-law, father, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa, friend, and person in general. An expert level motorcycle racer turned cowboy I think it is fitting all three of your cowgirl daughters married motorcycle (motocross) racers. I will forever remember and cherish our times together. I will continue to do my best to take care of your wife any way I can and to love your daughter and my wife of almost 35 years.
You have crossed the finish line of life and got the big checkered flag at heaven's gate.

Jim was a hoot to say the least. From listening to his stories about chasing ducks in his toyota truck to the trips on the river. He made work fun and was always there for a laugh. My thoughts and prayers to all his family and he will be missed. Hie memory will live forever.

Gone but never forgotten. Grandpa I remember going to sierra college every year for the niners training camp like it was yesterday. You were a hell of a man/role model. You were the best grandpa a grandson could ask for!! I hope one day I could as good as a man as you. Be sure to make some of that famous Jim peck ham for all the "good ole boys" up there!!!! Yeeeee haw!!!! Product of Peck forever!!!!!! Love you grandpa!

I will always remember how he stood up for me and helped Gibby (horse) and I out.  He never backed down and if it wasn't for that spirit egging on a challenge...  I will miss you Jim.

Well grandpa you were the best grandpa a grandson could ask for. I remember going to Sierra college to watch the 49ers training camp every year like it was yesterday. You were a heck of a role model for all of us grand kids. Hard working man!!! I hope one day I can be as good as a man as you. Make some of you famous ham for are the other "good ole boys" up there. I love you more than you will ever know, I know Broc, Luke, Landon, and myself are going to try our hardest to be the "men" of the family from here on out. Product of Peck forever!!

I love you Grandpa, you were the best Grandpa anyone could ever ask for, I will miss you so much, but never forget you and all the wonderful things you did. I will remember all the good times we had together swimming in The summer and all the Easter Sundays at your house! Rest in peace

We didn't know you very long, but you were a wonderful great-grandpa to Hailey Mae.  I wish we could have spent more time with you....keep the Mimosa's chillin up there until we can join you !!  Rest now, forever in peace.

I love you so much grandpa!! And we will all take good care of grandma for you:) You taught all of us so much growing up, but most importantly you taught me and my girls how to be cowgirls!! Everytime I see Emma spack Blue with the reins I will be thinking of you:)
