My uncle Tony wrote some books that I remember reading to my mom, his sister, that she really enjoyed. I remember enjoying the miniature saloons he made with wanted posters inside of them. He made beautiful wooden bases for glass table tops. I still enjoy the miniature wooden model of Jesus' tomb that he gave me years ago complete with a rollable stone. What I remember most are all the good stories my momma used to tell me about their childhood adventures, such as when she and her big brother Tony would hop on moving trains and ride them until the trains arrived into the train yard. She was about 9 and he was about 13, so they probably didn't go far, but it seemed like such a grand adventure to my momma who admired him so much. They would catch scorpions and tarantulas and put them in a hole to see who would win. She adored her big brother and had such fond memories of him!
