As planned, a private Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held with close family and friends.
Fabiola was born in Cebu City, Philippines to Germeniano and Basilia Laroa. She graduated from San Jose Recoletos College, then moved to the United States with her family in 1982. She then married Alvin Francis Stewart, and was married for more than a decade. The spent their time adventuring around the world and creating amazing memories together.
As a California Resident, she began working for the state as a District Representative for the Department of Housing and Community Development. Throughout her career, she maintained a good balance between working and spending time with family. After 25 years in the field, she retired at 62, where she became a full-time mother, sister, and grandmother.
Her interests included: family, gardening, cooking, and suspenseful drama T.V. shows. The love she had for her family was felt by anyone who crossed her path. She was a strong, caring, and independent women who will be missed by many.
She is survived by her daughter Monnalissa Odell; sons and their spouses, Jerome and Kristen Suarez, Christian and Kaleigh Stewart; Grandchildren Jerome Suarez Jr., Hailey Odell, Madison Miller, Alexa Suarez, Wesley and Vivienne Stewart; sisters Esther York and Yvonne Riberal; Brothers and their spouses Joseph and Falicidad A. Laroa, Josafat A. Laroa, and surviving wife of Germeniano (Rene) A. Laroa, Elena S. Laroa; and a total of 16 total nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, Germeniano and Basilia Laroa; Sister Sarah L. Mapeso; Brothers. Germeniano (Rene) A. Laroa Jr., Restituto (Ray) A. Laroa, Eduardo Laroa, and Raul Laroa.
Due to the current COVID protocols for Sac/Placer/El Dorado County, guests
must wear protective masks at all times while inside the funeral home facility
and practice the recommended six foot social distancing.
