Cristie Ann Paris

During her time with us, she led a life full of adventure. At the age of 17, Cat and her best friend Carrie joined the carnival traveling the country for a year. After living in Florida for a short time, she returned to California where she resumed her education earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

After graduating, Cristie married and moved to Ocean Beach in San Diego, where she fell in love with the people and vibe of the tight knit community. She found joy in taking her dogs to the beach, and watching the beautiful sunsets there. She also enjoyed playing poker with her many friends and later became a top tournament player.

Throughout her life, Cristie always lived life on her terms, never hesitant to pursue her dreams with vigor. She was a passionate political and community activist working hard on the issues she believed in.

Cristie is survived by her mother Deborah Lewis, brother Gary Paris, sisters Regina Paris and Audrey Paris, sister-in-Law Carrie Paris, niece Kelli Paris, and a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father Danny Paris.

A private ceremony will be held in San Diego CA in 2022.
