Rachel Elizabeth Flowers

Rachel Elizabeth Flowers was born November 29, 1979 to the union of Sandra Ann Flowers and Ervin Anthony Flowers in Chicago, Illinois. She was baptized in the Catholic faith and accepted God early in life. She received her formal education at Academy of St. Benedict the African elementary school, attended high school at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, and attended college at University of Illinois (UIC). Throughout her professional career, Rachel spent over twenty years working at United Postal Services, obtaining the position Supervisor of Operations.

After many health challenges, Rachel departed this life to make her transition on Friday June 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin & Sandra Flowers, maternal grandparents, George & Katherine Bogan, paternal grandmother, Gertrude Flowers; uncles, George Bogan Jr., Eric Bogan, Gregory Bogan, and Nathanial Shaw.

Rachel leaves to cherish her memory, her loving sisters, Karen Flowers, Katherine Odeneal, Dominique Timmons, Nikita Flowers, and Causious McMurry; her brothers Michael Flowers, Gregory Flowers, and Ervin Timmons; aunts Lisa Bogan, Naomi Flowers, Doris Shaw, Johnnie Mae; uncle, Edward Bogan. She will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom loved her dearly.
