Pastor Monte Alan Roe

Monte Roe was born August 29th, 1960 in Great Falls, MT. He is the son of Larry and Fran Roe of Albuquerque, NM. Monte grew up with his twin sister Marge Rivers of Fife, WA, Sonja Hagen of Lake Stevens, WA, and brother Pastor Corey Roe of Gold Bar, WA. Monte married his high school sweetheart, Sheri Roe, on August 23rd, 1980. Together Monte and Sheri put serving God first in lives.

Monte Roe became the Pastor of Allen Creek Baptist Church on March 9th, 2001, and exactly 18 years later, on March 9th, 2019, it was announced to the church that he had gone home to meet our Lord and Savior. He was a true man of God, never willing to waiver on God’s Word, completely UNBENDABLE.

He was a husband who loved his wife Sheri unconditionally. He is survived by his wife Sheri, 4 children, Jared, Jessica, Jeremy, Julie. 6 grandchildren Gaven, Bentley, Alexis, Langston, Braylynn, and Frank. Monte trained his children and grandchildren up in the way they should go and always made it a priority to show them love and who God really was.

Pastor Roe was loved by many and had an impact on thousands of hearts and lives through his 40 years of serving the Lord. He was a living and breathing example of a man that had to pick up his cross daily and follow Christ.

As much as it saddens us that he was taken home early, we know he is no longer in pain, and no longer suffering. He has fought the good fight, he has finished his course, he has kept the faith! Henceforth there is laid up for him a crown of righteousness. We will see him again. We will walk with him again. We will talk with him again. We will sing and laugh with him again. We know this is not the end. As our Pastor always said, "We are one day closer to the Lord's Return!"
