Elaine was born in 1953 in New York and grew up in Hutchinson Kansas surrounded by her family with 3 siblings. Elaine learned the piano by herself at the age of 10 and played in the orchestra at the age of 10 with various instruments. Elaine enjoyed and loved music. She enjoyed playing the piano for church, weddings, funerals , teaching piano lessons and playing piano for fun. She enjoyed playing the viola on her spare time. Elaine graduated from Hutchinson High School and graduated from Hutchinson Community College with an Associates Degree. Elaine decided to get married and move to Washington State to enjoy the mountains, oceans, lakes, rivers and islands. Elaine became a very loving mother to her daughter Jaime Cox with challenges that allowed Elaine to play Mom and Dad which made her a strong mother and father with Jesus love. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially her daughter Jaime Cox who loved her like a best friend. Jaime spent many week-ends with Elaine watching movies, going for scenic drives, playing card and board games, going out to do something fun and enjoying Mom and Daughter time together. Elaine spent the early part of her career working for different banks and a call center and went to work many years at the end of her career for the Boeing Company as an Office Administrator Professional which she enjoyed very much. Everyone who knew Elaine knew that she was filled with joy and happiness and always had a great since of humor. Elaine was an extrovert who enjoyed socializing with friends and people.
Elaine went to be home with Jesus on April 19th, 2023 and we’re happy that she’s finally living painless and not suffering anymore. She was a beautiful woman of God and a beautiful mother.
Elaine is survived by her Brothers Arlan Penner and Steve Penner, Children Jaime Cox and Parent Ellen Marie Dale. Elaine was preceded in death by Sister Luann Lee and Parent Carl Cornelius Penner.
