Clifford W. Wood

Clifford W. Wood, born July 3, 1928 in Everett, WA to Fredrick and Katherine Wood, passed away on June 11, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Clifford attended Everett and Mukilteo schools. He enjoyed playing baseball with the Mobil Flyers and fast pitch softball in the late 40’s and early 50’s. He umpired little league and high school baseball teams for over 20 years. Clifford entered the US Army in 1951 during the Korean War. In 1955 he married Frances E. Radford. Clifford worked in window manufacturing and was a member of Teamsters Local #174, Seattle. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Frances, sons Dan Wood, Donald Wood and his wife Teresa, Drew Wood and his wife Stephanie, brother Edward Wood, sister Peggy Kelley, and grandchildren Cody Wood and Hunter Wood. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 1PM at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Everett. A reception will follow at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 – 84th St. SW, Mukilteo. Memorials in Clifford’s name may be made to Hospice of Snohomish County or Mukilteo Presbyterian Church.
