Christopher H, Hanson was born on October 3rd, 1977, in Minot, North Dakota. Graduated from Devils Lake High School and then moved to Orlando, Florida in 1997 with his parents Harold & Jill and sister Ashley. Chris was a Owner Operator with John Christner Trucking. He paid off his truck in January 2014. He drove just under a million miles over the road trucking accident free with a couple different companies.
Chris had a very free spirit, and put everyone’s needs before himself. He always tried to help out in anyway he could “he wanted to fix everything.” His love for his family and friends could be seen by anyone but had a very special love for his mother and made sure she was always taken care of. He had a contagious smile no matter the situation. Chris loved his niece and nephew more then anything. Coraline, Chris’s niece was so very close to Chris, she ran into his arms every time he came over. Chris was definitely the life of the party. Chris had a dog Roxy who he loved so dearly, Roxy is still with us and is keeping Harold Hanson (father) busy.
Chris loved everything from the snowy covered land, oceans, lakes and hiking through the mountains. He enjoyed fixing up his off shore boat with his father, and fishing with both parents. Chris enjoyed working on all of his cars/trucks and making them his own. He loved watching movies, going to Disney parks, the wing house and flea-markets with his mother. Chris did everything from snowmobiling, snowboarding, ice fishing, lake/sea fishing, skateboarding, camping, fishing, cooking, hiking, concerts, wrestling to picnics. Chris did everything but was definitely a country boy.
Chris’s goal was to buy land on Stevens pass and build a small cabin off the grid and enjoy a simple but exciting life and was getting very close to that goal. So in honor of his dream we will have a memorial in the summer and spread some of his ashes somewhere beautiful and off grid over Stevens Pass.
Arrangements under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, Everett, Washington.
