Carol Joyce Anderson

stroke. Carol was born in Lewiston, ID, to Dave and Olive Harvey. She graduated from

Lewiston High School in 1955 and The University of Idaho in 1959 with a Teaching

Degree.

Carol taught children with disabilities in the Edmonds School District until her retirement in

1993. She was a Special Olympic Swim Coach and also taught Drivers Education for

the district. Carol loved the water. She taught her children, grandchildren and great-

grandchildren how to swim. She was an avid quilter helping friends learn the craft. She

and husband, Lowell, were snowbirds in their retirement years travelling to Arizona and

Texas making many friends. They travelled the world including, Europe, Singapore, and

Japan. When Carol's children were young, they spent many summers

camping throughout the western states. Carol was an active member in the Edmonds

Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) community for many years.

Carol was preceded in death by husband, Lowell J Anderson, parents Dave and Olive

Harvey, siblings: Arlene Mitchell, Lucille Harvey, and Floyd Harvey. In-laws, William

and Blanche Anderson, and brother in-law Kieth Anderson.

Carol is survived by her children, Shelly, Sheryl (Harry) and Bryan (Sue). Six

grandchildren, Sam, Carrie Ann (Mychal), Stacy (Artie), Katie, Luke, and Zac (Megan).

Four great-grandchildren, Kahl, MacKenzie, Jude and Lola. Carol was very proud of

her offspring and loved to teach, play, and spend time with them.

Services will be March 31, 2023 @ 11:00 AM, Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery,
