Ana Maria Dacanay Ramos, age 55, of Everett, Washington, passed peacefully to be with our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Ana, also known as “Annie,” was born on November 16, 1964 in Bacnotan, La Union, Philippines. She is the youngest of eight children - six daughters and two sons - of the late Angeles Marzo and the late Segundo Dacanay.
Annie studied nursing at Galang Medical Center College in Manila, Philippines and graduated with a B.S.N. in 1991. Since then, she has worked as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years, caring for patients and family members.
While attending college, she met her husband, Robert Ramos, in Olongapo City, Philippines in 1988. Five years later, they got married in El Dorado, CA in 1994. Recently, Robert and Ana celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on October 1, 2020. Within their loving marriage of 26 years, God had blessed them with two, God-fearing, beautiful and smart daughters, Robianne and Roanne.
Annie was known for being a God-fearing, caring, loving, strong, independent woman. She always kept her family on their toes with her feisty attitude, yet contagious laugh and smile, silly jokes, and loving personality. When she’s not at work caring for her patients, she enjoyed shopping, cooking, dancing, watching TFC, playing board games, spending time with her daughters, picking flowers, family bible studies, and traveling. She especially enjoyed praising and serving the Lord, bragging about her daughters’ achievements, and taking sunset walks with her husband. She will always be in our hearts and be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Annie is survived by her two daughters - Robianne and Roanne, her loving husband, Robert, her older sisters - Thelma, Estrella, and Edna, and her older brothers - Rene and Ronaldo.
