Al John Miller

Al John Miller passed away September 29, 2021, at 90 years old peacefully in his own bed in his sleep. He was born September 12, 1931, at his family home on Broadway Ave Everett WA. He married the love of his life Vera Ilene on December 4,1950. He and Vera were married for 69years until her passing in February 2020. John served in the United States Airforce from 1950 to 1954 in Washington DC. Upon discharged he and Vera moved back to Everett WA where they lived and raised their daughter’s Linda and Sandra. John and Vera moved to Kingston WA December 2019 under the care of their daughter Sandra and her family. John worked as a machinist for 11 years at Scott Paper. He eventually became a salesman and finance manager at Bickford Motors in Snohomish WA until his retirement in 1993. John was known for his witty sense of humor, love of his family, golf and of course the Seattle Seahawks. John was also a long-time member of the Everett Elks Club. John and Vera spent many of their retirement years camping, golfing, traveling to Palm Springs and as snowbirds in Arizona. Besides leaving his two daughters he leaves 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and older sisters Leona Rogers, Inez Goodson and Patricia Howell
