Velma Elois Moore

Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Moore.

Velma retired from Deaconess Hospital, as a supervisor in the Sterile Supply Dept. She was a member of Airline Baptist Church for several years. Velma played the piano and organ for various churches she attended. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed clothing for her family and did alterations for many people in Henderson County. She loved fishing and boating.

Survivors include:

1 Daughter: Phyllis Stone, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Evansville, IN

3 Grandchildren: Marty Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Dusty Wilson

6 Great Grandchildren: Justin Wilson, Kirsten Frederick, Stephanie Wilson, Kelly Gudorf, Brennan Thomas, and Steven Thomas

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00PM, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Rev. Nathan Whisnant will officiate. Burial will be in Alexander Memorial Park, Evansville, IN. Friends may call from 11:00 until service time on Monday at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
