Ricky Daryl Johnson, 72, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 15, 1951 in Kentucky to the late Ray B. and Ruby (McGuyer) Johnson.
Ricky was an exceptionally hard working man. He loved taking rides on his Harley, especially trips to the West with his friends that were more like family. If he wasn't riding, you would find him having a good time with friends and family. Anyone that knew him, knew he was the life of the party and he made sure everything he did was memorable and a good time.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Lanita Johnson; son, Derek Johnson; daughter, Lacey Johnson (Ryan Melson); brothers, Stevie (Toni) Johnson, Danny Johnson (Sandy); sisters, Roxie Holland (Charley), Robin Mudd (Charles); grandkids, Carter Johnson, Sophia Cook, Elaine and Asher Melson; and many other family members and friends that were just as close as family.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and his brother, Ronnie Johnson; and very special grandma, Maw Maw.
