Despite her own health issues, she was a fighter and always said, “Don’t feel sorry for yourself; look around, others have it worse.” She enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandkids and playing bingo.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Marlin Silke, Sr. and sister, Norma Goodman.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Feistel (Joe Ray); son, Marlin “Chuck” Silke, Jr. (Debbie); daughter, Sherry Quinn (Steve Housman); brother, Gil Hughbanks; sister, Betty Scurlock; grandchildren, Nikki Sollman (Ed), Scott Silke (Elizabeth), Kayla Barton (Mark), Andrea Gresham and Jason Quinn; 9 great-grandchildren, and other family members, Bob Gresham, Doug McWilliams and Chris Dillback.
The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Jackson and Dr. Edward Fox for their loving care of Peggy over the years.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastor Kirk Horstmeyer, with burial in Northview cemetery in Elberfeld. Friends may visit 2:00 to 7:00PM, Thursday March 22, 2018 and Friday from 9:00AM to service time at the funeral home.
