He was a veteran of the Army and retired from the coal mines. He was a former member and proud supporter of the UMWA. After retirement he worked as a maintenance man mainly for the excitement of socializing. Norman was a proud father and loyal friend who’s witty sense of humor was unmatched by anyone. He enjoyed serving as a handy-man for his family and was always helping others.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Streeter; daughter, Lori Streeter; and grandson, Brandon Beck; parents, John and Edith Streeter and Ruth Streeter.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula Beck (Jim), Stephanie White, Sherrie Streeter, Carrie Dougan and Brittany Streeter; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Steinkamp.
A funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rich Mull, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
