Matthew Ray Wicker

Matthew “Matt” Ray Wicker, 50, of Evansville, passed away at home Saturday, January 7, 2017. Matt graduated from Bosse High School. He proudly served in the US Navy. Matt belonged to the WSSC. He loved to shoot his guns. Matt was loved by many and his family meant everything to him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Nalton; stepfather, Clarence Nulton; grandparents, Charles and Charlotte Wicker, and grandmother, Helen Knight. Matt is survived by his wife of 20 years, Connie Wicker; daughter, Brittany; parents, Glenn and Karen Wicker; sisters, Amity L. Wicker, Kathleen Steward, and Kimberly LaGrange (Barry); brother, Rusty Nulton (Sharri); sister, Penny Pennell (Terry), and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be11:00AM Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Chad Eckels. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00PM and Thursday from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
