Martha Mason

Martha was a Sunday School teacher at Vann Avenue Baptist Church for 35 years. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 13 years. Martha loved to cook, sew, crochet, crossword puzzles and writing poems.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents and her husband for 70 years, Coleman J. Mason; grandson, Craig Mason; and six siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Mason (Marilyn) and Roger Mason (Linda); grandchildren, Chris Mason, Angela Chaudoin (Chris), Annie Tickel (Hunter), and Craig’s wife, Claudia Mason; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Alexander East Chapel with entombment at Oak Hill Mausoleum.

Her family would like to thank the staffs at Hamilton Pointe and Heart to Heart Hospice.
