Marlene (Wall) Flemming, 69, of Evansville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2022, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Marlene was born August 12, 1952, to the late Edgar (Skip) Sr. and Helen (Forte) Wall.
She graduated from Central High School in Evansville. Marlene was a member of Progressive Holy Temple Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She retired from Schnuck’s Supermarket in 2019.
Marlene was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Marlon Flemming (2015), and son, Marcus Flemming.
She is survived by her daughter, Marissa Flemming; granddaughter, Arissa Flemming; grandson, Royce Flemming-Fox; siblings., Linda Wall, Catherine-Michelle Hart, Edgar Wall Jr., and Nikki Hart; aunt, Loraine Wilson; goddaughter, Amora Dozier, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held at noon on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Apostle William W. Simmons, Sr., with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Progressive Holy Temple, 1700 Pollack Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
