Louis A. Martin

Louis A. Martin, 100, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Walnut Creek Center. He was born February 3, 1918 in Evansville to late Alvin and Lillian (Frick) Martin. He retired after 48 years of service from Whirlpool as a supervisor. He was an Army veteran, attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, and was a member of the River Bend Association. Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Violet (Thumeier) Martin. He is survived by son, Ron Martin (Lois), and grandchildren, Brian and David Martin. A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Monday, August 13, 2018 at Alexander Memorial Park-Chapel of Remembrance, 2200 Mesker Park Dr., with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
