Lisa Lynn Blankenship, 64, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at her home. She was born on Saturday, October 15, 1955 in Evansville to Malcolm and Betty (Orth) Slygh.

She graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing and worked at the Evansville State Hospital for over 20 years. Lisa loved her dogs, Harley and Scooter.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother; her husband of 44 years, Gary; daughters, Laura Meador (Nicholas) and Jenn Davis (Jarrod); step-son, Michael Blankenship; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Mac Slygh, Jimmy Slygh, Billy Slygh, and Kevin Slygh; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel.
