“Come in, come in!” Larry welcomed friends and family with a warm greeting and a smile. He enjoyed family gatherings where he often cooked. He was a seasoned Clabber and Cribbage player. An afternoon playing cards was always a good afternoon, especially if he won! Glad to be outdoors, Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, planting and tending garden, and picking up pecans in the fall. He was a 1954 graduate of F.J. Reitz High School. Larry served in the U.S. Marine Corp in the late 1950’s in California. Larry worked for Sterling Brewery more than 35 years and lived on Evansville’s west side, which he always called the best side.
